That little Tiki dude with the flaming hands!

Sweet art. I'm not saying this cuz i'm a Hip fan and a six-year-old coulda drew up a cover and I would rave about it. I actually like Cameron's work. I can't put it into words. It's just ... "different".
Awesome work!!! :thumb:
Great! I love the portraits!
Check out some more album art from Cameron.

A Question of Ethics and Morals:

For reference, you may need to read my recent post in the thread about the Hip Goalie mask.

I composed an email to Cameron Tomsett and The Hip informing them that the goalie mask TTH commissioned CT to design and paint was being auctioned as "hand-painted by The Hip". The Hip all signed it, but it's not really their art; it's Tomsett's art.

Before I sent it, it occurred to me that since it's a worthwhile charity, a mask "painted" by The Hip may raise more money than one by Tomsett. This could be a calculated move on the part of The Hip (I doubt it) and their management (more plausible). Although I knew it was a Tomsett design the moment I saw it, it was only because I'm a Hip fan; otherwise, living in the States, it's unlikely that I would have ever heard of him.

If it was clearly stated that the design was comissioned by The Hip, I think it would still garner high bids; let's face it: it is a materpiece!

So what do you think, should I let Cameron know, let The Hip know, let both know, or just let it go?
Any feedback would be appreciated.
(You can all thank me later for not making this a poll)

Agreed - great work!!

The inside portrait of the band looks like Canada's version of Mount Rushmore.
I would love if they came out with limited edition prints of the artwork.
