I had to get the dude at Zellers (They're the only thing open at 8am...) to bust me open a crate to get the CD! This guy was thrilled, THRILLED, that the Hip had a new release... seemed genuinely pulsed to have forty of them in his hands... so that put a smile on my face!
As I was leaving, I heard the first strains of "Heaven" lighting up the electronics department. So, if you're near Billings Bridge in Ottawa today: listening party at Zellers!
D-Man (my room mate) just got his copy at Best Buy Sherway in Toronto. As one of the first 20 people to buy it he also got a free lawn ticket to the Amphitheatre show.
I decided to try my luck, and zipped down to Best Buy. CD is in my player, and ticket is in my pocket. Woo Hoo!!!
They are also running a contest/draw for two front row centre tickets and backstage/meet'n'greet passes.
Future shop was closest for me, enjoying my first listen of heaven right now....Oh yes!

went to futureshop, picked up music at work for $5.99 and in turn got in between evolution for $9.99. under $19 for both. nice deal.
pretty solid album, id have to say "you're everywhere" is my favourite so far.

all the lyrics are included, although i think hmv is a rip, i was surprised that the album was only 14.99, went there because they were open at 8 and someone gave me a gift certificate.

I picked up mine this morning at A&B Sound for $12.99! I'm listening to it right now and I'm lovin' it!!! To borrow a line from Long Time Running: "It's well worth the wait."
Well after going to Zellers (it's closer, and i would have gotten the cd for free from using up my gift certificates) But they never even got thier shipment in!!! And i wasn't waiting a few days for the cd, so i just headed up to Future Shop, and got the cd. Sounds great so far! Awsome tunes, nice art work (i realy like the font they used for the text).
PS: hummmm! were have we heard 'mean streak' before! (very NICE)

Bought mine at HMV for $14.99. It was the closest store to where I was this morning and I wasn't about to go out of my way to save $5. They had IBE playing there too.
