3 seconds!?!

hock:
i can hardly contain myself
Nice to hear a couple extra seconds at the start of each clip, but they also cut the end of each clip a couple seconds to compensate. Still only 30 seconds each.
beanmedic Wrote:Rounder now has clips of IBE on their site which include an extra 3 seconds of music. Nothing earth shattering, but it helps.

Hey don't diss it, as all my ex-girlfriends can tell you... 3 seconds is a big friggin' deal.
Speaking of "earth shattering..." :thumb: :jump :thumb:
Is it me or are 2 or 3 of these new songs sounding like riffs from older material....? I've never felt that way before when a new album came out but.....mmmm maybe it's because its only 30 sec.s and I need to hear more?
I agree. I can't really put my finger on it other than to say that Josephine sounds like something circa 'Blonde Solid' or even 'Times are Passing Us By'.
Perhaps this is more of a Gord Sinclair influenced album (musically not lyrically) than the past few albums. The evident hooks of this album seem to be more his style based on the earlier stuff he supposedly wrote.
But like you said, they are only 30 second clips so it is still hard to judge.

Yep. So far, i'm convinced the riff to Gus is "Grace, Three." (On the website, not the 30sec. preview)
I'm a little dissapointed, but waiting for the album to be pleasently surprised.
