Has anybody ever seen this set of Hip reviews? In my opinion, it's a very good, unbiased set of reviews. I agree with him on everything for the most part. Thoughts?

I feel that the band's first album is better than this guy makes it out to be. Yeah, some of the songs are a little weird but thats what I like about them. I know some people don't like listening to this album anymore because quite frankly there are better Hip albums, but that doesn't mean it doesn't have anything listenable on it. Highway girl is a great song but better live. And for some strange reason I really enjoy listening to Evelyn and Killing Time. Of course Small Town Bringdown is amazing (one of my favourites) and Last American Exit is good too. One thing this album has that no other Hip album will ever have is the younger Gordon Downie voice. Its just so distinctive compared to all the other Hip albums which is nice to listen to once in a while. Anyway, thats how I feel about the EP, feel free to disagree.

I agree with longname, very nicely put...but other than that his reviews are pretty good, I mean everybody has their own opinion, right?
