anything that systematic would of course get you hated, however...
this is a twist on an old classic.
You're on a cruise with 100 of your closest friends and family and the hip. You're celebrating something huge, and your best friend somehow fanagled the hip to play it. So, the ship sinks, nobody on board knows how to swim and you're the only one to get into a lifeboat. So, you're in that lifeboat made for ten. You can only pick nine more people. Around you people are drowning fast. Only nine of your immediate family and close friends are left and the hip. You can only save the hip or those nine friends and family. Who do you choose?

Ha ha. Simple answer really. Family and friends of course. Saving strangers over your friends and family is incomprehensible.

Just think, you have the fate of "Canada's band" in your hands. If they die, it would be a national tragedy. You'd be the person to let the hip die! No more albums, concerts, etc. A part of you would be dying too, just think. Life after the hip? You'd have the pressure of an entire nation and countless fans on your shoulders. That of course would only add to the confusion of you heart breaking because you can't let your family die.
Exactly, you can't let your family die. I love the Hip but I don't know them and they are just musicians. Blood is blood and nothing should be more important than family.

I agree, it's just kinda interesting to think about and discuss. I'd hate to make that decision in real life.

not everyone is as tight with there family as you dude. sometimes things are just said in jest. For me it would be tough but since there is only four of us in my family I would definitely save the hip!!
I guess I'm lucky I have a small family. You know that I would have to save Gord though. :lol:
