I wish I knew the area pretty well. Does anyone know of a good bar or pub to meet at perhaps around 6:00ish.

I don't know that area at all, so I have no idea. Just someone name a decent place and a time, and we'll be there! We should have badges or passes to wear to let everyone know who is with hipbase. Otherwise, we'll just all blend in...

Once you go through the first gate from the parking lot.. if you keep walking by the amphitheatre and over a little bridge.. there are bars.. anyone remember The Island Club? over in that area..

yeah, i know that bar...had afew beers at my company picnic there last year! if i remember correctly though, i think you need a play all day pass to get in there...its in the wave pool/waterslide area. But i could be wrong...

Yeah, there is the tap and grill at soak city with a liscenced patio...and a jj muggs...bar and grill in the marina part...

Damn. I'm stuck out here in Cowtown and all you bastards are gettin' together without me. I feel so left out. By the way, I'm planning on a possible west coast California Hip trip this summer if any of my fellow westerners are interested. If not California, then Seattle for sure. I'm sure the boys will be out on the coast eventually. Maybe August??
