Wow...notice all the Hip tix that went up on ebay in the last 24 hours?? Grrrrr...I wish they'd have left them alone and allowed people on this NG to obtain them, without having to pay outrageous ebay prices!!

The only real good ones arn't to bad of a price though...that is right now. Notice how the bidders id is hidden! :lol:

I find it extremely aggravating the things people do for a quick buck. What an a**hole! Did anyone notice that the majority of the tix are from the same seller?!? That pisses me off to no end!

It does stink that there is no Darien pre-sale, but on the front page of this site it says that they plan to play a lot of small clubs. I would imagine also that tickets will be cheaper for those shows. There will be many opportunities for everybody who wants to, wherever they are, OK, maybe not Alaska or Hawaii, to enjoy a Hip show this tour. I doubt you'll see much on eBay for those shows. Can't wait!

I think if you get tickets within the first hour or so of the on-sale time you should get good seats, if there are no pre-sales that is.

Okay, a friend of a friend (that works at Darien Lake) told me that she got tickets for The Hip's concert at Darien Lake already, apparently yesterday, because she has season passes for Darien...and people with passes get first dibs at concert tickets (a presale, to some effect).

Anyone else have season tickets that can confirm this????

It sucks that people would use something like the hip club to profit off of selling tickets. That's true.

That said, you gotta think anyone willing to pay that kinda money's at least somewhat of a fan. Either that or they've just got too much money.

For some reason I think this ticket for 400 some dollars came from something other than the Hip Club. Weren't Hip Club tickets starting at row C? Anyways, that is the most rediculous amount I've ever seen. What will be even worse is someone who actually bids on that. Wow!

the darien lake deal for getting the tickets early is for season ticket holders. for $1,995.00 you can secure a seat somewhere in the front 15 rows in section 100 for every show that they have. this year they'll have about 20 shows so you plunk down about 100 dollars a show. there are other perks in the package too. if i just had another 1,990 bucks i'd do it.
