I would recommend Q107 - that a very popular station to listen to on the internet. That's <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.q107.com">www.q107.com</a><!-- w --> - streaming problem might occur from time to time - but it doesn't all too often.
I listen to CHOM out of Montreal when I'm in town, but if I'm at home, I can't listen to it, it's at a lower elevation. However, when I go visit my family up north 20 mins from the border, I listen to CHOM as much as I can. I can't quite listen to anything online because I only have a 56k but once I get Road Runner I will be!!! I grew up listening to Canadian radio and watching Canadian Television. So I'm no stranger.

I used to listen to CFRC-Queens radio but that was 12+ yrs ago. the show that I used to stay up listen to all the time was "brave new waves"
