a friend has just told me he heard that the hip are playing bellevilles waterfront festival more info to follow it would have to be july 9th

If that's true... I'm going to be SO broke by the end of July.

If it's a late show, I might be able to make it. Three shows in three nights in Canada? What is this the Up To Here tour? I think I'm in heaven.

figures the summer they are playing all these shows, I cannot go. Just my luck. Oh well, hopefully they add a bunch of august shows

here's the website, but as of now the hip are not listed on it. i called and talked to this lady that worked there, but she didn't know anything about it. she did say that they were going to release the friday night lineup fairly soon. She also said that they were making a big hoopla that a big band was going to be playing there (not sure either friday or saturday) and then they announced loverboy was the feature act on saturday. she had also heard that bryan adams was going to play there, but once again this is just a rumor. The lady that worked there didn't think the hip would come because it would cost the festival to much to pay the band....she also said that area where the bands play holds between 10,000 to 15,000. here is the info

I sent an email out to festival organizers and asked them if the tragically hip will be playing the festival on the friday night, this is the response i got back....
