Working away on this Sunday morning, and just thought I'd share.
The weekend papers are pretty much in agreement that the sun will never rise and food won't ever taste the same after "Friends" gets cut on Thursday.
Never seen it. Don't have any urge to. Always seemed too corny, too pop-culture and too much of a standard sit-com to appeal to me. Anybody else on the planet a non-fan?
You are not missing much, I find the show very lame. Thats just me.
I'm no die-hard fan but I like the show, I've seen plenty of episodes.
In my opinion the quality has always differed a lot from season to season, the more recent stuff just hasn't been that great. Not unusual though.. I mean the show's been running for what.. 10 years? Enough is enough, time to call it quits I think. For the people who dont want to..there's always Joey's spinoff series... :roll:
In Europe we're still a couple seasons behind on Friends so we have a while to go ..
I think we are only one season behind Kim, so one more year of friends for us

I agree completely with you...I have never seen one episode, only bits and pieces...never appealed to me either...
I watched the first season, then tuned out after that. Standard American sitcoms just have never done it for me.
If you want to check out a much better show, try "Coupling" from the BBC.

I remember watching Friends during the first couple of seasons, but after that I lost interest. To me, nothing will ever beat Seinfeld. That show practically reinvented the half-hour prime time format. Not to mention it was consistently funny as hell.
Congratulations Stephen. I am jealous. I wish I could say the same but my wife loves it and is throwing a Friends Final Episode party in our apartment! Good grief! Oh well. Everyone likes different things I guess. :mrgreen:

Now i wonder what the hell this world is coming to when I picked up my morning paper and saw "Good to the Last Drop:Friends final episode" splashed dead center on the front page
cratch: They had a small top front headline about the prisoner abuse story in Iraq and they give a bigger headline to Friends???? Truly a sign of the apocalpyse. :roll:
