A few months ago I went and bought Neil Youngs' latest "Greendale". I bought it because of the long songs and it sounds really good. 10 songs on the CD and averging about 7-8 minutes long for almost all of them (including one into 12-13 minutes long).

I really like the long songs....it gives you more to listen to (like Dark Canuck & Fight).

I agree , however the hip just are not that type of band. No solos in concerts either
