I'm not sure if anyone read the article about a waterloo company who rented out the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium on Sunday and gathered it's employees and friends which were treated to a surprise rock concert featuring the barenaked ladies and aerosmith. Imagine you went to one of your work functions and then the BNL and Aerosmith are performing, talk about wow.

I know that the hip have played a few of these Business events. I wonder how much it would cost for a gig like that. Which leads me to believe why won't the hip play a warm up gig for their next tour for hipbasers. most likely they'll play some sort of a warm up gig somewhere, why not for us. Is it to late for this idea, or can we still get something accomplished. I'd be willing to help out in any way.

Last I heard it was $15,000 USD. For a night.

that fee must be way south in the US. i remember hearing they charged the university of buffalo 10,000 for their spring concert and that was back around "fully completely." That was the show where gord got hit in the head with a sneaker by some jerk and he walked off stage. i haven't talked to my buddy since.
