well folks from the topic yes iam moving not that any of you care that much. So going from Kendall , new york to amherst new york .
amherst will be temporary home till we find a new house and sell our lod one.
the thing i hate the most is packing all my shit then having to find it again when i need it. or it just could be change. :roll:

I'm with you on hating moving. I've got a few coming up myself. Getting married so the single bedroom apartment's not going to work anymore. So we're going to build a house and in the meantime move into a 2 bedroom apartment.
Gonna be great to get into the house but I'm dreading moving 2 in the next year.
I used to live in Spain and we moved 4 times in 3 years... it was horrible...

Tell me about, I hate moving with a passion. The worst move I did was not even really moving. We got new carpet and had to move half the house one day. Then the next day move all the crap we moved the day before, you see the pattern....
I hate moving to. I have been doing it since the fall of 97 when i first left home for school. Hopefully it will all end this summer.
I just moved, it really sucked, worst part was it was like a kilometre up the street. Alot of work for such little distance. The try throwing a house warming party when the previous owners forget to cancel their alarm system, sirens ringing crazily, what a night. Beanmedic can contest to that.

I don't know anyone who hates moving as much as I do. That's because I don't know anyone who has moved as much as I have. I moved 23 times in less than 30 years. I don't care what people say, you never get used to it.

Yep, I hate moving too....not sure anyone enjoys it! But at least when you move from an apartment into a house, it is a nice thing!!

well my wife got a job at Roswell cancer institute, and we are going into an apartment . but our house hasn't sold so rent+ mortgage = no hip trips

I hate moving too. Back in England I moved 7 times in 8 years, and since I came over here I've moved 10 times in 12 years. It's really getting to be a pain in the ass ESPECIALLY since I move about twice a year since I'm in university. Next up: moving to Calgary for five months, coming back here for four, then moving somewhere out west; where, I haven't the foggiest. So that's at least three more moves this year...and when it's all done, I will have moved once for every year of my life (on average; it's been horrible moving twice a year for the past couple of years).
The worst of it is throwing most of my stuff awya because I'm too lazy to pack it once again. I have fewer possessions than a Buddhist. I miss a lot of what I've gotten rid of, but the upside is - aside from furniture - I have only half a dozen large boxes of stuff. Two of those boxes are CDs and vinyl records.
