Anyone else have problems with puretracks? The damn thing just won't send me a licence to listen to the new song. Everything on my end is fine. When I tried to contact the help section, I received an e-mail telling me that this e-mail account is no longer active. Then it said I should look up trouble-shooting on their help page....yet, the help page refuses to take my password "invalid user". They just took my $1.06.
I didnt have a problem at all with puretracks, i think i had the whole thing done in like a minute or 2. the actually download was like 3 seconds long.
Sorry, everything went very smoothly for me too.
Me 3
I'm dying to get the song, but I use a Mac and the site is not Mac-compatible yet. i'm freaking out! AAAAAH!

I taped the song on TV, but was very dissapointed that there were hockey announcers and crowd noises over it. It made it hard to hear the song.
I'm a Mac user as well and am baffled that PureTracks would exclude Mac users. You'd think that they would want to get Mac users hooked before iTunes becomes available in Canada. Steve Jobs (Bill Gates at Apple) has stated that he wants iTunes in Canada this year, and talks are already under way with CARAS and SOCAN, etc. Being a Mac guy I always felt that i had it better than a PC user, but for the first time, it's the other way around. Sad

Same thing has happened to me. 22 hours later and still no license.

After many attempts I was finally able to get onto their help page (you need to register for their help page in addition to registering at pure tracks) but no one has replied to my problem yet.
Just be glad you can even get into puretracks. It won't let users from the states even access the site, much less buy anything.
I had no problem with PureTracks... except the whole nobody from outside Canada BS. What's the rationale behind that?

I'm assuming it's because they only have domestic distribution rights, but c'mon... it is the WORLD wide web.
Does someone mind sending the song to me over IM? I am stuck here in Michigan and cannot download the song.
I have no problem with Puretracks EXCEPT! i want to be able to play it in winamp but all the tracks are encoded and the wont let me change it.....anyone who knows how tell me
the way i got rid of the encoding is to burn the song to a cd and then we rip it back to your computer in Windows Media Player or really anything probably works. Then i changed its format from WMA to wav and its works great on everything.
Why thank you im sure ill try that :thumb:
