Alright folks, in true Tommy Douglas fashion, we need to organize...

The Wasaga Beach show has the potential to be legendary. I spent my childhood summers there, and I just about lost it when I read the boys were finally putting on a festival gig there. (Okay, so I lost it when Casey and Finnegan would pop up. So what, I'm easily impressed... wanna fight about it?)

The Beach...
A Bonfire....
The Huron Sunset...
The Hip...

Let's get something organized. I can bring a blanket, some sunscreen, a couple of hats, maybe a beer or a Ginger Ale or two... but really, an all day gathering of Hip Heads is in order.

I say we meet at the arcade and then hit the bean bag slides before the show.

Ah... Wasaga Beach... Does anybody else remember the Huge Ghetto Blaster shaped bus AM 680 used to park along the beach front? They'd blast CC Penniston and Mr. Big till the sun went down! Memories...
My room mate (D-Man) and I will be there. Driving up from Etobicoke!

We should set-up a carpool plan too.
Anyone carpooling from Winnipeg Smile
anyone flying in from the netherlands?
anyone car pooling from the Hammer?
Me and My buddies are definately heading up from St. Catharines- just tell us the spot and we'll be there. There is also the potential of us leaving in the morning and ripping it to Ottawa to catch the blues festival the next day.
anyone from ottawa planning on bussing/train-ing their way there?
sabatooch

hey contact me at psychadelic_ramblings@hotmail.com and we can talk about this. U have to cut through Hamilton on the way to sarnia anyways.
hey chancellor, i think sabatooch was talking about the wasaga show
I'm in Ottawa. I should have my car fixed by then. Nothin' says "Ridin' in Style" like a rusted '88 Camry.

But either way, I'll be heading there and then coming straight back to see the boys at City Hall for BluesFest. It's times like these where not drinking comes in handy...
I was speaking with my bestfriend who I'll be going with and she said it would be help right on the beach! Is this right? It makes it all the better that's for sure! We'll be staying with her Grandma who lives up there. Should be one great night. Now if we could only get Gramdma out of the house!

I've heard that they have held concerts right on the strip (the part of the beach across from the waterslides and the McDonalds) But I was expecting something in one of the camp sites. Perhaps near the 1812 museum?

But on the beach would certainly rule the friggin' world!

I'm really hoping tickets are available online. I don't wanna have to go down there and get in line... unless maybe your Grandma wants to line up for us?!

I love your signature by the way.
Oh yeah I never even thought of that! I can't see why tickets wouldn't be sold online. But if that's the case I'm sure Grandma wouldn't mind picking up a few tickets! I wonder when they will go on sale?

Right on. Grandma rules. "She's the rock-plug for all of us."

I'm wondering about ticket info myself. Sooner than later I hope. Here's hoping for no wristbands.
hahahaha thats great, go grandma,
