I like the never ending story. The rockbiter was my fav character. It is a great movie for kids. I also really liked Labyrinth. David Bowie did a great job of playing the bad guy. The princess bride is another fav. I had big crushes on the leading ladies in those films back when I was a young teen.

Ah yes the rockbiter, he was a good guy. I had a total crush on Atreyu, he was just so manly and courageous.
And those 2 movies definitely deserve to be mentioned, great great movies. :thumb:

What about Willow? I remember seeing that movie in the theater when I was a wee sprite, it was awesome, but was it 80's?

It takes me back to the days of Z. Cavarici (sp?) clothing. Dozens of I.O.U. Sweaters, and who could forget Skidz! :thumb: Maybe it was just an American thing. Mark, Highway Girl, do you guys remember Chess King and that other store...what was the name? The folding and rolling of the pants by the ankles! Sweet.
The music though, second to none. I AM a self confessed '80's headbanger and proud of it. I had all the hair bands in my collection - Ratt, Cinderella, Poison, Crue and so on. Rock on!
I don't remember that store Chad , but i did live in a small town so I wasn't exposed to alot of the more mainstream culture..Hair bands I remember, I remember buying Motley Crue - Shout At The Devil LP when I was about 12 and wondering if it made me satanic ! Sooo naieve...Another good one , I bought Culture Club , and I swear on a stack of the Hockey News that I thought Boy George was a girl!! :what Also jean jackets with the embroidered Motley Crue or Iron Maiden patches. I was a Beastie Boys freak when they broke out in 86, loved RUN DMC too. I remember the rolled up pants and every girl wanting to be Tiffany, oh god and Menudo, I think they had to be the first boy band... Speaking of hair bands , let us not forget Whitesnake, Europe, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard,Twisted Sister (wrote TS on everything  ) and Bryan Adams (not hair band!!
when Bryan Adams wasn't hooking up with former spice girls who can't sing a note)....Atari, Coleco, Commodore Vic20, Donkey Kong, The Bangles... OK , i'll stop myself now !!! :lol:Pages: 1 2
