maybe a peak into the future?
So do they mean that the show you can buy for 20 bonez will not be mp3 but a better quality?
I bought the Binghamton show that I went to and its AWESOME. You can purchase the mp3 and download the show (up to three times!) for 13.99 (usd) or get the CD shipped to you for 20. If the Hip do anything like that.....WOW!

According to <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.dijonketchup.com">www.dijonketchup.com</a><!-- w --> (a BNL site):
"Sales, says lead singer Steven Page, "have been better than expected. We thought we'd sell 100 per show, but we've been averaging several thousand. Since we do a lot of improvised stuff, we didn't want it to disappear into the ether."
If they(band & record company) were willing to set this up with the planned return being sales of only 100 per show - the costs can't be that high. There are at least 1000 people at every Hip show who would buy a copy. Let's collectively cross our fingers and toes, the forty things we share, in hopes that The Hip follow BNL and make the shows available.
I've read many times that they tape all there shows already, so maybe they could release back catalogue stuff as well.
the dead and ratdog have been doing this for a while too. I bought the dead show I went to last year and it is amazing. The sound is incredible! It is a great keepsake. When you buy from them you can also download nice colour covers for these babies. Here's the link.
