Do you think he'll try it again?
It would suck supremely to have Mick Jagger keep putting out SHITTY solo albums that nobody buys, and Gord not putting out any more. So I said YES.
Yeah, he knows we'd buy them lol.
Of course he'll smegging do another one! That's like a whole new side of him that's opened up. He's not just gonna turn it off snub the Country of Miracles.
I think for sure we will see another solo. I love that side of Gord so I re***y hope so. Also in another year or so would be great!
*** I know is that it would re***y suck if he didn't!
I just want to type the word all and really to see if I get sensored too.
I know I think it's my new security program that I got. I chose to block "all" of my banking info.
*cough*
Of course he will... painters don't paint because they want to. They do it becasue they have to.
I can't imagine why not..

There are maybe 4 or 5 CD band releases that I look forward to, that actually make me glow for a few weeks before and after.. Gord's in the #1 and #2 positions Smile

My question is, what direction do you expect it go in? I love both solos but I would have to say that CMG is the best album I've ever heard (period). I always love hearing the 'evolution' but I sure wouldn't be disappointed to hear a bit more of that sort of mellowness.
the first one kind of got swept under the rug. the 2nd i liked. then after seeing him in cleveland i started getting the boots from the shows and i really started liking both bigtime. it used to worry me about the solo stuff. but i think the hip and the solo stuff can co-exist.
so on that note i cant wait for solo effort number 3.

i think it's like neil young..with the hip being gord's "crazy horse"
i think he should as long as they dont sound anything like hip albums. he has enogh talent not to use his "hip gord" as a solo piece, it would be respectful to the rest of the just-as-important hip members.
which has been working well so far.
but, hey, just an opinion!!
I would love to hear another solo from Gord. But I would REALLY LOVE to hear some of Rob Baker's written songs! He's so artistic that his songs have GOT to be just as beautiful.

Are the five people who voted "No" serious?? I can't imagine why Gord wouldn't make another solo album. Perhaps it won't alternate years with Hip albums the way the past two have, but eventually, I'm sure we'll hear more.

I'd love to hear some instrumentals by Gord S or Bobby...I know they write a lot, so it'd be nice to have something put up on the Hip Club...just some odds and ends from the studio or something.
