English singer doing American country pop/rock. A bit too pop at points but I generally like it. Sample: My Motto



(Kevin Morby - Oh My God)

Dark folk secular gospel record. That's a strange combination of words, but I dig it. Sample: No Halo



(Mountain Goats - In League with Dragons)

Not as explicit a concept album as the last two about wrestling and goths, but definitely a D&D fantasy flavour. Sample: Younger



(Mounties - Heavy Meta)

Canadian indie "super group" consisting of Hawksley Workman, Steve Bays, and one of the Dahles. Fun, noisy indie rock. Sample: De-Evolve Again



(Epic Beard Men - This Was Supposed To Be Fun)

Hip hop from Sage Francis and B. Dolan which is sometimes fun and sometimes serious, but always thoughtful. Except maybe this... Sample: Pistol Dave



(TR/ST - The Destroyer, Part 1)

Dark but danceable electronic music with slightly odd vocals. I feel like I shouldn't like this but I totally do. Sample: Gone
