Another thing that sets FC and DFN apart from the others in terms of the artwork is the unique fonts that are used. This could also be said of Yer Favourites and, to a lesser extent, Road Apples with the blocks, but on FC and DFN the style is original.

I love the done-after-dark spray paint feel of the band's name on the DFN album cover with the splatter around the two "t's". Just one more thing that makes DFN a near perfect package.

I always got the feeling of a slight Springsteen homage from it. And if Gord had a hankie hanging out of his back pocket it would of had a "Born in the USA" vibe to it.
