Agreed - love Springtime but as a single it's the weakest left. Little Bones is certainly a weaker song but a much better single.

You guys are kicking sand on ‘Little Bones’ like it’s a 98 pound weakling at the beach. It’s the most ‘muscular’ and testosterone-laden song in the entire catalogue. Plus I believe using the term ‘weak’ in the same sentence as ‘Little Bones’ is grammatically incorrect. Something like “It’s a more worser song” or “It ain’t not as good” would be acceptable.
Interesting point about ‘Little Bones’ being a better single than a song. I agree. An example of the reverse would be ‘Escape’, which is a much better song than a single.
Anyone else remember ‘Springtime’ not as the 5th single from TATH, but as the first (and only??) single from LBU? The single was released in May 1997, the same month LBU was released, and I have distinct memories of hearing the live version of the song numerous times on the radio that summer.
