Nope. Anyone knows that a vote to this point for Grace would result in automatic eviction from Hipbase. If Gift Shop makes it to the final I'm going to be tempted, but I'd hate to break-up a no-hitter with a bunt single.
I love Paul's background "Ba Bada Ba" in the second verse of Gift Shop and wonder why he doesn't sing it on the first verse. It's close to the "Ba Ba Bada Ba" in Sloan's 'People of the Sky' (which has an extra "Ba"). Just one of the many small things I love about Gift Shop.

Of course it is... if I recall correctly I believe you can even see Sinclair sing it in the Gift Shop video. I had a brain cramp on this one. Thanks for pointing it out!

Went to see Emily Fennell a while back. This was literally a week after Gord D passed. Gord S did a nice little speech, then sang the opening verse to Wheat Kings...........an "A" for effort and spirit, but ya.....it kinda ends there.
Emily took over on the remainder of the song and did a great job.
Voted Giftshop; as great a tune as it is, I love Escape too much to vote it out at this point.

Ah, thanks for mentioning. In fairness, singing Hip songs is a bad idea for everybody...though females seem to do them the most justice (Feist, Sarah Harmer, now Emily Fennell).
