This warrants a discussion.
MAv is starting to exhibit his pictures. First up: Gord.

On display at Leslie Jones in Leslieville (1182 Queen St E) from May to June. Exhibition opening from 2 to 5 pm this Saturday.
Prints available for sale. I also saw he answered "yes" when someone asked if he was thinking of a book.
Some really incredible shots on his site: http://www.bastedo.com/
We're all "photographers" now with our phones, but it's jaw dropping when you see the work of a true professional. I always though MAv had a dream job, especially when I'd see him in the pit at shows long after all the other media photographers got the boot after their three songs. He also did a really good job as the social media voice for the band for a period of time.
I'm also amazed and how sad I feel just looking at these shots of Gord and the band -- it must have been tough for him to go through the archives.
So hard to view these images. Thought the scars had somehow healed, but they are still wide open.
I went on Saturday. The pictures were all ones that I've seen before. However, he also had a little booklet available that had a copy of the picture and a little write up about the details behind the picture itself - that was the key part of the exhibit IMO. Some of the explanations hit me hard.

Felt the same about the booklet. Had a real emotional time.
