Vote for the song you believe to be the weakest on In Between Evolution and after 48 hours, we will remove the two songs that have the most votes. As before, a song must have at least 10% of the vote in order to be removed otherwise it will carry forward into the following round.
The poll will end Tuesday at 8:06am Eastern.
Happy voting!

So long Nashville, it's not your night.
Nashville is a nicely cranky pop song, ridiculing the worst presidency in living memory - but it's ultimately thin relative to several songs that were booted out into the last round (two of which, 'Yer Everywhere' and 'Makeshift' are among the most exhilarating moments of later-era Hip). It should have lost then and it ought to lose now.
I agree with my bete noir andew sharpe's post in the other thread, though - this is such a strong album that, when it comes to this process, it's about choosing between excellent tunes. Toughest choices since DFN. As befits one of their best records.
Noun. bête noire (plural bêtes noires) An anathema; someone or something which is particularly disliked or avoided; an object of aversion, the bane of one's existence.
Ouch! At least we'll always have
We're Everything. If a song can't save us then nothing can

I shouldn't have voted for "New Orleans is Beat." I'm listening to it right now; this song's fantastic.
Ha ha, andrew sharpe, I used the term in the most affectionate way

(And I'll refrain from pointing out that NW's post is anecdotal support for my suggestion in the previous thread that at least some voters are casting votes based on memories of a seldom listened-to album  )
Mean Streak and You’re Everywhere eliminated together?
So wrong.
Good thing this is just a silly online poll.
Because there’s no way that’s correct.
I haven’t been this upset since our last election.
Well, that’s only a million times more upsetting.
This album poll has been, by far, the most eye-opening for me. I had a pretty good sense of the likes and dislikes of the general masses for the previous albums, but I've been caught completely by surprise on this one. Nothing against "Are We Family" but I found it quite interesting that it was the only song not to garner a vote in round one and it now appears like it could be in the final four. It's forced me to listen to that song with new ears.
Gus is in the lead? Over Family? What the actual hell?

Are We Family's run here is mind boggling. Maybe nobody likes it but nobody hates it enough to muster significant votes against it. I've bounced back and forth between Family and Nashville all poll. That's how that fucker is squeaking by.
Makeshift is gone. Copengahen's gone. You're Everywhere go shivved in the ribs because -- why -- it's star was too intense for some of you?? The Heart of the Melt too.
Bah! Repeatedly bah!
Surly, go-crazy,

I assumed IBE would be the album where we would start seeing wide spread differences. Pretty certain we are going to see that on all remaining releases going forward.
Oh, man.
Let this be the end of Gus.
Considering five better songs have already been outlasted by it.
I cannot believe gus is going out. It's the best thing on that album by a comfortable margin. It might actually be their best song of this millennium. You people suck.
The voting on IBE has been absolutely bonkers and I'm completely surprised by the responses for it. I guess it just goes to show that beauty is in the eye (ear?) of the beholder!

To each his own, I’ve never been a big fan of Gus. Absolutely love the intro and starts off great, but usually turns into a skipper shortly there after. Saying that, it didn’t get my vote this round, but is my 2nd least favourite among the remaining.
