Anyone seeing her in Toronto tonight? Her band features a certain Mr. Robert Baker; he and Gord Sinclair play on her record, which is really quite enjoyable. Rob will be there tonight; not sure about Gord S.

I like it. Very "jazz standard"-ish. Baker's really good on the record.

Show was actually great. Emily's voice is fantastic. Rob's playing was predictably tasteful and understated (I left after the first set: I was in the South Pacific till a few days ago and I'm jetlagged af). He was also rocking a purple velvet suit, and Miss Emily made fun of the suit and how good his hair looked.

Will definitely see this ensemble again.
