Now that everything except Yer Favourites is available on vinyl, I'm curious if we'll ever see No Threat and New Maybe on vinyl. I don't really care if Yer Favourites gets pressed but I would like to have these two on vinyl.
Although The Hip have never really done much on RSD, a 45 of these two could be issued and RSD would seem to be a good fit. Curious if I'm the only one who'd be interested or if there are others who want these on vinyl as well.

Great idea, I'd love both those tracks on vinyl. No Threat is one of my favourite Hip songs and I played it obsessively when it was released and I love The New Maybe for it's delicate, stripped-down simplicity. After hearing No Threat and The New Maybe for the first time I remember thinking that, coming off of the heels of IBE, these two songs were a precursor to the next Hip album-- a sludgy, gritty, noisy, rock album with some delicate acoustic songs sprinkled in. I was stoked as hell because I loved that the The Hip were going in that direction. I thought it suited them well and showcased their best qualities as a live band-- warts and all. Instead they dropped an over-produced power pop album. As much as I love The Hip, I always thought this was their biggest misstep as a band. Whether the decision to pursue a mainstream pop sound was as a band, or if it was Bob Rock who steered them away from the IBE/No Threat/New Maybe-esque rawness, the clean and saturated pop production didn't suit The Hip, and I'll always lament what could've been for that era. But kudos to them for experimenting and evolving as a band. One of the reasons I love this band so goddamn much
