Don't give me the Knuckles of Frisco.
Toronto #4 has hit rock bottom. The Sweet betrayal.
I'm puttin' down, indeed.
Stay, you can't stay. You did the best that you could do...
I'm starting to fail to be impressed.
And I'm starting to fail to know what's best.
I made the mistake of reading the comments first. I think I may have revenge-voted.
Tiger the Lion for me, although it was a close call with Stay. The lyrics for Stay are better, though, imho, so it managed to "stay" for now.
I voted for My Music at Work because I hate it.

But Paul is so damn handsome in the music video :o

You know I've had that as my avatar for so long, sometimes I think it's actually me.

I was just thinking today how great it is to be able to drift in & out of here as my schedule allows & always find this particular weakest link project charging on thru the hip's discography. Thanks to everyone involved, & if it's just you putting this together & providing continuity, Shane, thanks for all your work. The result is some agonizing voting moments & some pretty amazing insights from contributors here. cheers!
I haven’t been active on Hip boards over the years, so it’s fascinating to see which songs are the real fan favorites. Had no idea Stay was this well regarded (and the favorites/least faves on Phantom Power really surprised me).
Lake Fever will rightly win this album though, which I 100% agree with. In fact, the Hip’s taste on this album totally mirrors mine based on the four songs picked to get played in 2016. Those would be my top 4 as well.
Tiger is the only 'skipper' for me on this list. Sure, it was a noble experiment, but no thanks.
I don't know what the big deal is with Lake Fever. 'Good not great' would be my verdict. To my ear the title track is unquestionably the most enjoyable song on the record. For instance, it actually has hooks. But that's a debate for the next round :x
