When we start to permanently staple peoples mouths shut we are no better than they are. I think it is fantastic that we live in a place where people can make these kinds of movies. Or any kind of movies. If you don't like don't watch. It is a buyer beware kind of world we live in. We all get a little uptight when people bad mouth the hip, but they are entitled to their opinion. Jesus may or may not have been fictional and his crucifixion may or may not have been real but they did in fact crucify people back then. Take a little trip to the museum of civilization in Ottawa. They have an actual anklebone with a nail driven through it. It is a very disturbing sight. Just because we throw in Jesus people are horrified at all the blood and violence. This is totally bizarre. Everyone loved LOTR and don't tell me there was no blood and violence in those movies. If you believe in the Passion this movie really gives an idea of what Jesus went through on the day of his crucifixion, if you don't believe than it is just a pretty decent movie. I for one was not offended in any way by this movie. I'm not Christian, in fact I'm a first nations person and there is no debating what the Christian church has done to my people, but this movie is just one person's view that may be shared by millions. It's just a movie.
So its out today...... how many went and bought it? I still haven't seen it, but my bro said when he seen it in Cowtown he was like on the verge on tears. for those who have the DVD, is it cut in any way from the theatrical version? I hope not, I wanna see this thing in its entirety!
"...I have often told you this entire Universe is a cunning fantasy, a particularly involved dream. Why do you suppose you never asked me who is doing the dreaming?"

"I never thought it worth asking, I imagine."

"You never dared ask!" exclaimed Maitreya, grinning at him.

"All right!" scowled Mars. "I'm asking now. Who creates the illusion? Let me think. For such a universal dream to be, there must be two requirements: an immortal dreamer and a mind that understands everything of creation. So is it created by the Seven, the seven deathless Oathmasters? Or by the Four primary beings in the Universe, Narain, the Grandfather, Almira and Gana? Or, since the essential reality of the Seven and the Four is the One, could I not as easily say the creation is of the one only? This is why we sometimes call our Universe, 'Narain's Dream, ' I suppose. How am I doing?" He asked rather sheepishly, as Maitreya had practically doubled over with laughter.

When the rajanya could talk again, he exclaimed, "Words! You think they are so important! And yet you have not the faintest idea what they mean. Listen, shara: the ultimate truth of everyone is the One. Don't you see that every single human being is the dreamer! Even you, shara. We all create the Universe, everywhere, all the time, at each and every moment of the space-time continuum. You are suprised by this only because you think of yourself as limited by natural law and causation rather than as you truly are: one with the One, the Deathless Dancer himself. You are made of magic, yet you believe you are made of dust. As you believe, so you are. Because this is true for everyone everywhere at all times, our world is always perfect."

"How can you so describe the world?" asked Mars, perplexed. "What of evil? Why would I go to Zared if not to foster the good and eliminate those who would destroy Tala?"

Maitreya replied sternly, "Don't confuse levels of Reality, shara! Evil is a creation of your present level of thinking, your current state of consciousness; it is one inevitable result of your beliefs in sin, error, problems, weakness, death. The simple and fortunate truth is that evil is a dream, simply an illusion: it does not exist except in the minds of those who believe in it. Because you don't yet understand this, you have no choice but to live this life.

"As long as you believe in the possibity of suffering, you will weep for the awful agony of this world. But as you evolve, as you consciously dis-create more and more of your false conclusions about life, you will learn more and more thoroughly it is your beliefs that are making your Universe so. Your judgements of good and evil, your acceptance of pain, your belief in suffering is creating your Universe as it is.

"You are the dreamer, shara! Wake up!"

In Between Evolution....
HERE is something my teacher wrote:

I can see why Christ had passion.......

Quote:According to the Urantia Book John never wrote the book of revelations but dictated the entirety of it to a disciple who later passed the info on to others who later compiled the bible through various translations and interpretations of the different languages. If you translate the Greek and Aramaic languages they do not exactly speak of the same thing or describe the essence of what John Might have said in the same fashion.
Sort of like a group discussion where many viewpoints agree but the experience is individual.

Personally I don't put too much emphasis into what others say or do without actually experiencing something for myself.
Once I learned how to ascend and experienced it for myself there was not much point in trying to figure out where it came from.
The Hawkins story is interesting but I would suspect any point of reference that is not my own through the Ascendant.
I have seen many who practice kinesiolgy claiming to be meters for the higher realms and enlightenment but who are also at pretty basic levels of awareness and carrying the weight of personal stress and attachments to the physical world.
I find it less than inspiring to take anything of fact from someone who cannot stabilize Union or the Ascendant.
Not having met Mr. Hawkins personally to know his state of consciousness the scale you refer to is meaningless.
Therefor in all fairness how can you prove that it means anything or could be used to reference any of the information written in regard to the Ishayas or history?

Being that there are many levels of Conscious awareness within the physical world what would really give truth to your request?
Would there be anything that would really give you satisfaction of proof of the Ishaya lineage?
Perhaps an ancient stone tablet verified by historians and scientific carbon dating with reference to the Ishaya name or Teaching?

The book "A Course in Miracles" has the Ascension attitudes or I should say the essence of them laced within the chapters.
The Isha Upanishads contains the essence of the teaching.
The Urantia Book Speaks of the Teachings of Christ not only being introduced 2000 years ago by Jesus but by Machiventa Melchizedek 1000 years before him and the book as well as the Melchizedek documents speak of his entry into the world as an incarnation without being born of a woman and as an adult bypassing the process of birth and mortal evolution of body or conscious awareness.

There are lots of interesting things that are passed from one generation to another, in the writings and teachings of Human ancestry. The only True knowledge comes from Self exploration; the combination of the evolutionary levels of reality and the Absolute reality of the One.

I find it easy to believe anything, and just as easy to doubt everything. Life is not about beliefs though. Each level of awareness will have to be passed for the Human cannot contain the absolute within the confines of any description, Teaching or experience.
You can take doubt to any level. Did John really know how to Ascend? Did he personally write revelations? Did he really exist?
Is enlightenment real and does any measure of enlightenment really contain clues to the reality of it?
MSI in his descriptions of the contents of Patanjali's Yoga Sutras said there is no measure of the Absolute, but for the sake of the intellects stubbornness to put the infinite into description there exists the Path so that one may move towards something different, something that can change the experience and meanings of the densest realities.
Only by dropping the minds grasp on the lesser realities do the greater ones become tangible, even then the habit of the mind to fall back on the rules of learned reality sometimes sabotages any hope in breaking the grip of the Ego's hold on the minds ability to transcend or Ascend Ignorance.
The Ego very cleverly creates standards of measure which allow the mind to experience greater experiences but does not allow the mind to transcend experiences.

Experiences are always changing and they are no point of reference in Stability. Even the experience of the Ascendant has to evolve and change as you do or you will become stuck in a relative point of reference.

I know the validity of the Ishaya's and the name means nothing for there have been many other names used in the lineage of the Truth which is the "One" and the Teaching of the One. Every teaching and religion has its roots in the Absolute Ascendant, Transcendent, All that is, I am that I am, etc. etc. Ad nauseum ......... After a while you really have to ignore all of the Self proclaimed Truths of the Truth that are steeped in the purity of any one perfect lineage and Teaching that has a label to fit the personality of the Student or the Teacher.

If you ever do find satisfaction in any description or historical Fact, you are sure to find another with their own to match or challenge yours.
Play that game for as long as you like and eventually you will tire of the game and Accept the reality of the One and choose for that.

Enlightenment is to be in the world but not of it.

Iwould not watch this movie if i was paid. Yes i know he was brutally beat, but i dont need to see that to know what he went through and what he had done, besides this is mel's version. I dont give a rats ass what mel gibsons religoius thoughts are!
I watched it just about 12 hours ago... pretty spooky shit... I never believed in God or Jesus or whatever... especially after reading alot of religious texts and occult philosophies and mythology... I still don't... Supposedly, Satan was created in the image of Pan to convert the Pagans and country-religions (Animism/Polytheism) into general patriarchal-monotheism... alot of early Christian churches still have Pagan influences and architecture... and every Christian holiday (X-Mas, Easter) replaces an older Pagan holiday....Hmmm... Anyway, I've heard it all; from Jesus was an alien to a secret society fabricated the bible in order to bring some form of order to mankind; the comandments, the stories about "good" things and "bad" things... Almost trying to separate us from the animals.... Funny how so many people can believe in some sorta non-corporeal being that created everything but thousands upon thousands of people have seen sasquatches and they're still the brunt of many jokes... Confusedcratch:
