On to Fully Completely; another great collection of songs which many of us got to revisit in concert in 2015.

As before, vote for the song you believe to be the weakest on Fully Completely and after 48 hours, we will remove the three songs that have the most votes. As before, a song must have at least 10% of the vote in order to be removed otherwise it will carry forward into the following round.

The poll will end Friday at 10:10am Eastern.

For this album I have no idea which song is the weakest...I only know which ones are NOT. I went Eldorado over Looking and I'm thinking my final three will be Courage, Camera, Fully.

i officially hate this game now. :lol:

sticking with my "how many times can i listen to this on repeat" methodology, i'm going to have to go with Courage. but it pains me to do so.

I've participated in the other albums and they've been rough but this one is the hardest to choose so far... and it's only the first song. I went with Lionized but if you asked me again in a few hours it might be a different story.

Wow, already surprised at the votes on Looking For a Place to Happen! Not that I think it is the best track on the album, but so early on?!?!

Always loved the gritty guitar riff intro and how can you not love the line "Jacques Cartier, right this way, put your coat up on the bed,hey man you've got a real bum's eye for clothes"

I went with Lionized. I've never really liked that song. Live it's pretty good, but the album version? Meh.

I'm with direwolf on 'Lionized' - a bore - although 'We'll Go Too' was my alternate choice. The latter song at least works serviceably as a mid-tempo pop song, while the former just seems like a failed attempt at a kick-ass rocker, so 'Lionized' 'wins.'

If all the songs from UTH, RA and FC were all one big album, I'd vote 'Lionized' and 'The Wherewithal' as the weakest links. I can only vote for one song at time though, so 'Lionized" gets my vote here.

I love Lionized.

It'll be top four on my chopping block as well. I find the lyrics a bit pandering.

Somewhere along the way, Wheat Kings lost its magic for me.

I'll never forget an amazing performance of it in Halifax in 2007.... just before EVERYONE had cell phones... the place lit up with lighters.

A few years later, I always found it killed the momentum of the set, and always made me feel 'meh' when it appeared on a setlist. They have several other ballads that I love, and wouldn't kill momentum in a live set IMO (Fiddler's Green, LTR.... hell, even The Rules).

Meanwhile, "hung with pictures of our parents' prime ministers" is probably the single line that captures better than any other the nexus of generation/national identity that made the Hip such a potent force at that time.

I did say a bit. I just find it slightly typical to write a song about David Milgaard, a well known story, published after his release. No one's interested in something you didn't do? Except that everyone was interested in it once we found out it was something he didn't do. If the media hadn't covered this, if Gord was breaking this story or campaigning ala Hurricane (or even The Secret Path), then the song would have felt more prudent.

I dunno...this album is so amazing that it feels stupid to find any fault with it at all. But Wheat Kings, with its dramatic loon intro, sentimental acoustic guitar melody, and subject matter feels ever so slightly like pandering.

Yeah I do love that line. And I LOVE the weathervane Jesus rhyme (even if I've never actually seen one). And it was awesome in high school to hear a big time rock band singing about the CBC and a Canadian news story. Don't get me wrong...I LOVE the song, and I haven't even voted it off the island yet...but it won't be in my top four and I think that's why.

I always assumed the line had two meanings:

1) the cops who didn't care if it was him or not - he was a bad kid and deserved to go away for something

2) nobody in government was interested in actually reviewing the case; from '88 to '91, there was no movement on his application for review
