Some of you may remember the interview that my girlfriend and I conducted with Rob last fall. I posted it on here in the Dougie Stardust thread but I wanted to create a thread just for my girlfriends blog. She does a lot of blogs on music history as well as reviews of shows we have been to and other events such as RSD. The Rob interview is posted on the website as well as some other Hip related blogs. The full interview with Rob will be out within a few months, which will be posted there.

I noticed that since a lot of us seem to be from Ontario, we attend many of the same shows, so maybe you'll be at some of the same shows or events we review, or you can go read about it if you missed.

To those of you who have already been reading, thank you. Check it out and see if there is anything you like!

Feel free to comment on here or any of her social medias if you have suggestions. She is always open to new ideas.

What ones would you add?
Recently I made these business cards for her.. The sleeves are all hand made. Cut out, folded and glued. Yes.....a lot of work. haha They are about 2.5" x 2.5"

Due to the design, we are going to start handing these out on Record Store Day..

Here are 7 that come to mind for me

Fireworks
Wheat Kings
100th meridian
Three Pistols
38 Years Old
Thompson Girl
Dark Canuck

Lists seem to be overwhelmingly popular on facebook, twitter etc over the past year or two. Looking forward to reading the full interview, good luck with the blog.
Those business cards are amazing. Nice work! Love the blog as well.

Thanks for the read.

Thanks. I may have bit off more than I can chew with them. Not including all the time for mock ups and designing, I have about 7-8 hours into assembling them and only done about 120. We have handed out a few to family and friends and got a great response, so I think handing them out to record fans on RSD should hopefully go over well. We will be in Nashville for RSD, but hopefully I will see some of you around at some local shows in Ontario..

Seconded! Those are great.
Great looking site -- really good reviews and nice photos. I like that review style -- sometimes a little bit of history and context, and then a good summary of the show.

Nice business cards, those should attract attention at RSD. I envy that trip to Nashville.

Thank you for the kind words!

If you ever get the chance to visit Nashville, do it. I have been probably 10 times now and I am still finding new things to do. It is one of my favourite cities in the world. I don't really like country music, but there is something for everyone down there. You can walk into a bar any time of day and listen to incredibly talented live bands.
