after the halifax secret path show, i walked up to stage and said hello and take care to billy ray, it was kinda ackward on my part but im glad i did

I think I heard Strombo say he'd have more on his conversation with Billy Ray over the next two weeks? Something to keep an eye on.

This is on the Strombo Show tonight at 8. There are also supposed to be a few Hip covers as well, all in celebration of Gord's birthday yesterday.

Billy Ray segment starts just before the 2:20 mark after a few of the Strombo covers are replayed (Chancellor, ABAC, Thompson girl)

Really touching interview. That was great. Also, I noticed this quote from George right at the end of the show regarding the Hip 30 special: "I can't wait to tell you what's happening next with this project."

My guess is that all of the cover songs will be available for download at some point. Or perhaps they're planning some sort of CD/vinyl release?

They filmed it all. I'm assuming they'll release the video down the line, maybe to fundraise?

Also, I ran into him last week at the stone unveiling and he knew my name.. didn't introduce myself. It was a little off-putting, haha.

Love the dude though. His passion is unrivalled.
