This was posted in the Secret Path thread, but I figured it should have a spot here as well.

Holy cow. This profile is amazing.

He's building a log cabin up north? The influence of his father? Taylor Mansbridge? Fascinating stuff.
It seems as if we've learned more about Gord in the past week than we have in 30 years. There is a video from a Newfoundland hotel room from a number of years ago where he is asked his favourite Hip song and then he plays Springtime in Vienna on an acoustic guitar. However, up until very recently I have the feeling if he was asked by mainstream media to name his favourite Hip song like he was in this interview, he wouldn't be so forth-coming. He likely would have prevaricated and said something like "The one I'm currently writing."

And Street-Legal as his favourite Dylan album? I would have never guessed that.
Such an honest and open person sharing so much of himself. And a great sense of humor to top it all off too.
Fantastic article. Very informative.
