Did anyone catch Fred back when he was doing pubs to all the "kids" who'd grown up watching him? Probably the most joyous and surreal concert I've ever been to. Huge grin on everyone's faces the entire night. He started with a Monty Python joke too!! "What is your name? What is your favourite colour? ..." lol

I saw Fred one year live at Evolve in Antigonish.

Two years later, he was back, and I saw him walking amongst the tent city.

I yelled out 'Hey Fred!' Nobody else noticed him.
He came over and talked with me and my boyfriend for about 45 minutes and had a beer with us.

1 day later, he was one table over at a breakfast joint I'm Antigonish. He chatted a little bit more with us and asked.us about the rest of the festival.

Two months later, he was at Ottawa Folk Fest, and he walked right over to us, remembered both of us, and asked how our move to Gatineau was.

His shows are great for all ages. If you ever get a chance to see him with your kids or with friends, 1000% go.
