Holy crap! I figured they were raking in huge cash for the MMP tour, but to be on a list with the likes of Springsteen, Beyonce, and Guns N' Roses is pretty crazy. I'm surprised that Pearl Jam didn't make this list. I guess their tickets were cheaper than everyone else?

I don't think PJ made it because the list is just summer tours. The bulk of the Pearl Jam shows this year were April/May.

Ahh, ok. I didn't realize they were only listing summer tours. That makes sense.
Well deserved.
I know this is confidential financial information, but I would love to see what one of the MMP shows made vs. a show at the Paradiso in Amsterdam on the NFPA tour or vs. the Emo's East in Austin Fully Completely show. Just for kicks.
Damn. They did way better than I expected!
looks like the tour pulled in a serious gross! Good for them - they deserve it!
mind you, that is a far cry from how much each band member actually pocketed (as discussed previously on this thread, there are significant costs to be deducted from those grosses), but I'm sure they did pretty well!
I'd bet if they added merch sales to this list, the Hip would likely move up a couple of spots. Due to the circumstances surrounding their tour, I imagine they probably sold more merch than any other artist on that list.

I totally agree with that. I have never seen merch lines like that before. Constantly long, including the merch tents set up outside the shows.
