Just re-watched CBC's old Full Fledged Vanity special and I was wondering.. Is there a full recording (audio or video) out there of the 08/29/1991 show from Fort Henry in Kingston that's pro-shot in the special? If not, I wonder if CBC or the band will someday release the full thing now, under the circumstances. It'd pair well as a double release with the last show of the MMP tour..
I'm sure there's a full version somewhere in the CBC vaults. I agree it would be great to see all that old concert footage remastered and re-released at some point. If I'm not mistaken, I think Blue Rodeo opened for them at this show.

If it does still exist, I'd sure hope it gets to see the light of day at some point. That's like holy grail level live Hip. And yes you're right, Blue Rodeo did open this show.
I was at that show and yes, Blue Rodeo opened. You can see my much, much younger self in a few shots of Full Fledged Vanity. Anyhow, I have cassette of the full show that I got back in my show trading days. I can't remember how good the quality is after all these years, but if I can track down a cassette player I'll give it a listen to and see if it's any good.
Oops. His send before I was done...Obviously not as good as full footage but well worth a listen.

Right on, that's awesome! I haven't ever seen audio of it mentioned anywhere, regardless of quality I'm sure it's gotta be a gem
