You know the one..the one that says this train will keep on rolling. The one that says "fuck no! Time isn't short and the future is filled with more albums and more tours!"
It says this won't end! It can't end! It's too damn good! It's the look that you've always had...the gleam in your eye that says "I get it; you get it. It's why we are here, it's why we persevere!"
It's the look you had then and it's the look you have now. It hasn't changed. On the contrary. That look now is more powerful and meaningful than ever. We can and will look back often but we won't stop looking forward. You taught us that..The Lookahead. There doesn't need to be more albums or more tours. This train will keep rolling after you're gone, after we're gone. Greatness can't be held back by time; It will always find a way to the next generation.
What you have helped create is timeless. We are just passengers on the train but we are on the train nonetheless and I can't help but think that this journey is far from over. You taught us that..to have and to keep that Lookahead. Could there be a better lesson?
