At Rock the Shores a few years ago in Victoria, the Hip was the headlining act. During the show there were some amazing lightning flashes (which by the way are incredibly unusual in Victoria) and at the time someone had captured this while the Hip was playing.
I've done extensive searches online and I can't find these pics anywhere. Any chance someone here has them archived?
That was a fun show! Fiddler's Green was perfectly timed with the lightning flashes.
Here's another pic. Not mine. Sorry I don't have the author, but I saw it posted on fbook the day after the show and kept it in my collection:

Those pictures are amazingly awesome.
Was the show shut down? That looks deadly to keep people out there though.

No, for some reason they let the band play through a 2-hour set even though the opening band (Sam Roberts) had to be cut short.
Thanks for the links/pics folks!
The crazy part about the show was that all the lightning was behind the stage, so the band couldn't see it, and I'm sure they were scratching their heads at some of the weird places in songs the crowd started going wild at.

OK, I don't have the required permissions to view that picture. I tried searching the net for that file name, and searching theweathernetwork.com and still couldn't come up with it. Any chance you could email it to
my forum handle + @outlook.com?
Thanks!
