Just curious, with the shows now heading into Ontario, think there might be one or two special guests that pop up at a show? Part of me thinks maybe we'd see one or two at the Toronto and Kingston show. But the other part of me thinks that most musicians are going to pay their respect by just giving the boys 100% of the limelight, and rightly deserved at that.
Any thoughts? Think anyone will show up? By show up, I don't mean just attend, I mean actually hit the stage with them??

I seriously doubt that will happen this is about them and them alone.
But you never know.

Sarah Harmer doing
Now for Plan A songs in Toronto or Kingston would seem like the only possibility.
And having said that, there's also a chance Kingston turns into a parade of guest stars. I sincerely hope not, but all bets are off for that one.
Dan Akroyd in Kingston perhaps?
I think Aykroyd is defintely at that Kingston show, maybe Toronto and maybe Ottawa too (he's from Ottawa.) Who knows if he'll go on stage though, maybe just do an intro.

Seeing as Dan's apparently hosting the after party, yeah. I'd count him in.
what celebs have been spotted so far....
Dallas Green attended the Victoria show. He headlined at Rock The Shores the next day. Didn't appear on stage though. Was really hoping to see him and Gord do 'Sleeping Sickness' together one more time.

That would be a sweet invite to have.

Hamilton, perhaps? That would be a great bonus.
In theory, I could see a few longtime friends of the band join them in Toronto and/or Kingston - Blue Rodeo, Sarah Harmer, maybe Dan Aykroyd on harmonica for a tune. But I don't think it'll happen. I don't think anyone wants to take away from the focus on the band and Gord. And if the Hip suddenly started inviting friends on stage to close out the tour, it risks perpetuating the idea that this is their final tour - which is a message they're still being careful to avoid.
I don't think there is an artist out there that would do this. For this tour that stage is a Hip stage.

exactly right
Good points...and have to say any one of them likely wants to just be there like the rest of the fans.
