Hi all. Given that we now know the setlist formula for this tour, just wondering what everyone's ultimate setlist would be respecting the setlist format.
So, 25 songs off 7 albums (6 random plus MMP), 4 song mini-sets off each of 5 albums + one 3 song encore from another album + one two song encore off another album. This was a weird, interesting exercise vs. the typical "put together a dream setlist of random tunes" exercise. I ended up leaving off Fully Completely entirely, which I never thought I'd do. But the more I thought about it, the more I realized those are the tunes I've heard most at Hip shows over the years. I can live without hearing Courage live again if it gets me Emperor Penguin or Sherpa.

You know, I've seen the Hip over thirty times and Courage would still be top five on my list. I wouldn't miss NOIS but Courage has been one of my favourite songs since high school. I'll never get sick of hearing it in any medium.

I've also seen them 30+ times, and Courage, Locked in the Trunk and Wheat Kings have always been highlights for me, as has NOIS. But having to narrow it down to 7 albums, then picking several songs off an album just because you desperately want to hear one tune off that disc, makes it a challenging exercise. Fortunately, I'm going to see them three times on this tour, so hopefully I get a good cross-section of most albums over those dates.

I'm psyched because I know(pretty much know) I will get a IVL set a Calgary one. But imagine if they played Leave. I feel like that is the best song on the album, and it happens to be the least played live. Anyway that would be just insanely cool if they played Leave live.

That was tough... Having to leave Road Apples and TATH of altogether, wasn't something I thought I would ever do. Perhaps because I got tastes of both at the Vancouver #2 show, and I really want to hear WC again, as well as IVL.
Too bad the second set format is 4 tracks from 3 albums. Reversing it, and getting 3 tracks from 4 albums would be phenomenal.
