That shit be ripped in soul an blues, goddamn!
Holy fuck this is an amazing song.
Heavier than anything on Park Avenue IMO...
Gord, you rock Eternally.
Thanks for this Joel.
Kick-ass tribute in true Joel Plaskett style. Beautiful.
Tributes are great but I'm worried we'll soon cross the line into eulogizing the living.
Awesome gesture, love Joel
Can't get over how good this song is, what a masterpiece. Tragically inspired but what an incredible tribute. It has a Roger Waters mood and vocal vibe but its pure Joel. The guitar work is truly inspiring, and the lyrics are tops.

Couldn't agree more. The lyrics, the vocal delivery, the music, its crazy how much this sounds like it could be a Roger Waters song.
Park Avenue Sobriety Test was good.... but this song blows any song on that album out of the water.
HEAVYYYYYY
joel, like gord. a national treasure
Not sure if this has been posted. Here's Joel reciting the lyrics for "Just Because" during an acoustic show with his dad, followed by a hilarious performance of "Love This Town".
