I would watch the shit out of that show.
A set that includes Sherpa would do it for me...its been almost 20 years since I saw that one played live.
This is impossbile. Any combination of the following would do it for me . . . I tried to be as reasonable as possible.

Ok....After several listens to the new album, I'm going to re-do my setlist completely. This isn't what I am predicting or what I'd like to hear. This is what, If I was in the band would think would be solid and entertaining for both the band and the crowd....

Edited after listening to mmp non-stop
I've decided to limit myself to the typical 22-23 song concert and since I enjoy the new album so much, I'm going to use the "Fully Completely" model with Man Machine Poem in the middle with 2 breaks.
1. Springtime In Vienna
2. Emperor Penguin
3. Ahead by a Century
4. Another Midnight
5. Cordelia
6. So Hard Done By
7-16 Man Machine Poem
17. Country Day
18. Sherpa
19. Nautical Disaster
20. Three Pistols
21. On The Verge
22. Blow at High Dough
23. Long Time Running-(house lights on)
This dream setlist is assuming that this tour will be the band's last. It involves a complete evolution of the band from start to finish of the first set. Picture a backdrop display projecting era footage and imagery of the band for each song while the boys play the songs.
1. Highway Girl (EP)
2. 38 Years Old (UTH)

would love to see an acoustic set mid show - with gord's stamina possibly in question, that may be something they consider
Going with the assumption that this is for this upcoming tour, it's a little more heavy on MMP songs.
1. Man
2. Courage/Montreal/Courage

25. Blow at High Dough (“Same Tragically Hip thing”)
I'm not guessing at a whole set list, but Man would be a pretty cool opener.
Time for me to try this out after digesting the album for a few weeks:
01 - Man
02 - In A World Possessed By The Human Mind
03 - New Orleans Is Sinking
04 - Ahead By A Century
05 - What Blue
06 - Cordelia
07 - Boots or Hearts
08 - Fully Completely
09 - In Sarnia
10 - The Depression Suite
11 - Grace, Too
* Acoustic
01 - Ocean Next *
02 - Fiddler's Green *
03 - Courage *
04 - The Last of the Unplucked Gems
05 - Gift Shop
06 - We Want To Be It
07 - Here, In The Dark
08 - Chagrin Falls
09 - Bobcaygeon
10 - Nautical Disaster
11 - At Transformation
12 - Blow At High Dough
13 - Machine
14 - Poets
15 - Great Soul
16 - Three Pistols
17 - Emperor Penguin
That was incredibly difficult. I feel like I left out soooooo much.
Here's a crazy idea....
The tour consists of 15 shows. How about each show they play a different album in it's entirety, then encore with a 7-9 song Hits and MMP list.
Then the Kingston show can be a mix of whatever they feel.
I know I'm dreaming....I can't imagine that much rehearsal with that much material! But....one can think a bit out of the box right!
