I predict we'll have an official street date and a new single by Monday. My only hope is that the street date is sooner than later. It's been a hell of a long wait for this album.
Great way to start the day off! (Assuming it's not an April Fools joke) Looks like an album cover to me, but would be a cool title for a single too.
Hope its real, the wait is killing me.
They've just tweeted another tease
Yep...they are really messing with us now...hopefully next one is a song or more than a clown with a violin and sound of a music box...although it is getting good, keep it coming!
When today is over, here's how it will have gone.
10am - tweet #justgimmethenewstth gif
3pm - tweet little violin man video
5pm - album released as free download and tour announcement
9pm - surprise concert
Midnight - I fall asleep drunk wishing this actually happened
Too much teasing. Not enough music. C'mon Hip, just release the album already! You know you want to.
Oh man I'd love a surprise free release, doesn't have to be free even. I'm in Prince George BC it's Friday, sunny, and hot. New hip music to have a beer to after work would bring me tears of happiness. Has universal music ever had a surprise release?
A few weeks ago an artist from Toronto, whose name escapes me, tweeted a picture of Gord Downie with clown makeup on, someone posted a screenshot on The Hip's Facebook page which was deleted and the tweet was also deleted. It seems thematic with the second Hip tease today and I'd guess there's a video coming with single and/or a tease of some album artwork.
