What do you think? I've liked all their releases, but I though Mirage Rock was a bit uneven. They do sound good on vinyl, the Acoustic at the Ryman is well worth picmking up. I had the new one in my hands a few times over the weekend, but passed it up for something else.

really enjoying it so far. Great Job of producing by Jason Lytle ( Grandaddy)

currently entranced with the song "Country Teen" which features vocals by Tyler Ramsey

Pick this one up...you won't be dissapointed
A few of my favs that also sound really great are all the old Dire Straits, most of my Flaming Lips (coloured vinyl is super fun), MJ Thriller and Off the Wall, Joel Plaskett, and Blur 13 and Think Tank. Just got Bowie Blackstar but haven't had a chance to listen. Also love Ryan Adams Gold.
Just raided my parents old collection last week while out visiting. Got a few great ones including most Paul Simon albums, Dire Straits Brothers in Arms, Beatles White Album, Pancho and Lefty and a bunch more.

For newer albums I've been loving Sturgill Simpson's albums, Dawes, Wolf Parade ATTQM, QOTSA Like Clockwork and of course my hip albums lately. Speaking of which, I have an extra WATS album if anyone needs and would love a trade for another hip album I don't already have. Hit me up if you've got extra!
Mentioned above but all the Joel Plaskett on vinyl are great.

I love collecting vinyl. It's much more rewarding, I think, than buying a CD.

A cd is really no different from mp3's, especially with liner notes and packaging getting less and less. So yes, vinyl is far more rewarding. Plus the process of listening to vinyl is different. It's active listening.
Picked up a classic I never thought I would own on vinyl the other day...

I've been slowly expanding my vinyl collection over the last few years, but it's so damn expensive and I can't always afford it, so I still end up buying CDs just because I'm a collector and enjoy owning a physical product. As far as artwork/packaging, it really depends on the band. Drive-By Truckers for example always feature great packaging, even with their CDs. Same with Pearl Jam.
