Following their recent releases of Up To Here and Road Apples, it looks like Music On Vinyl are also releasing the self-titled:

That's all well and good. But what we really need is Day for Night, Henhouse, and Phantom Power on vinyl. If they reissue those, I'll definitely part with my cash. I have zero interest in the self titled album.

I have original copies of self titled and UTH and rereleases of RA and FC. I'm hoping that the rerelease of FC means that I'll be able to fill in the blanks I have between FC and WATS.

Yeah, I'd keep going forward for releases not backwards -- I have an original release of the first EP, gets a spin every so often.

The MOV Hip re-issues are cut from the digital master, so I suspect ACSC will be included. The MCA release is easy to find (and beats the original RCA pressing IMO), so I'm not sure where the market will be for this ST re-issue.

Was the MCA version "re-mastered" and therefore a better sound than the RCA version? I never picked up the MCA version when I saw it, holding out hope for the first pressing (which I did snag just before I left Kingston). I'm not sure how easy the MCA version is to find on vinyl, to be honest. I'm not sure I've seen it in a store in the better part of 10 years. There were still sealed copies of Up To Here floating around then too. Regardless, it's out of print, hence the Music On Vinyl treatment.
As for going backward instead of forward with the re-issues, perhaps DFN, Henhouse, etc., will be getting Full Completely style re-issues. You know, hardcover book, random uncirculated live shows, overpriced (yet surprisingly good) wine.
I'd forgot about ACSC being on one release of the CD, and not on the other. I remember hearing that song for the first time, one of the early Ottawa shows, and hunting high and low for it (pre-Internet). I thought it was a CD only track?
I was just in a record store in Kingston after their show, and someone was debating the $50 price tag on the EP. I don't find it to be that much of a collectible overall, I have seen a number of sealed copies in eastern Ontario record shops.
I have a few MOV releases where there's no easily found alternative, Road Apples is one (I'm holding out for a local collector to drop his price on an original) and Lucinda Williams Car Wheels, but overall I dislike that they use audiophile wording for releases that are often digitally sourced (and I'm thinking in some cases straight from the CD source, not even a higher resolution digital source). I will say that the pressings are good -- quiet and flat.
