Just a little while ago I was having a shower, cranking World Container, & my 6 year old son, Lukas, barges in to ask me a question. Last Night I Dreamed You Didn't Love Me was just ending & he started to say: "Daddy....." but The Drop-off started, cutting him off. I saw his reaction in the mirror as he started to dance, like only a 6 year old boy can. "Daddy! That's The Drop-off!!", he yelled. He grooved all the way thru the song, mouthing every once in a while "don't go swimming past the drop-off.....". As it ended he, again, was going to ask me a question: "Daddy....." But this time Family Band cut him off. Loudly. "Daddy! That's Family Band, isn't it?" Yes it is Lukas. Yes it is. (wipes tears from eyes).
Reminds me of my daughter a few years back, when she was about 6 I bought her this kids drum set for Christmas.
Flash forward to that following summer, she was down in the recroom with her cousin goofing around. We were having a big family get together, all outside, but the basement windows were open. Suddenly from the basement we hear.....crash....boom.....crash boom boom....crash....boom....crash boom boom.....and then she broke into "she said I'm fabulously rich, come on just lets go"....LOL
Very proud father moment, it was at that time I realized I had raised her correctly!!..LOL

Awesome story. My kids love to dance and sing to Love is a First. It's a lot of fun.
