I went to the Lord of The Rings Trilogy yesterday and it was pretty cool. Seeing the extended versions on the big screen rocked.
After seeing the first 2 movies about 5-8 times each I was still picking up things that I had missed but seeing all 3 movies really pieced together the story a lot better.
My ass was starting to get sore about 3/4's into Return of The King though.

thats awesome,
i'm watchin the two towers onight
then return of the king tomorrow afternoon, i cant wait
I CANNOT wait till tomorrow....our day off!!!! :jump Time for LOTR
did anybody read the Fox Trot cartoon about LOTR? I thought that was hilarious and true, cause I have some female friends who go absolutely stark raving loony whenever Orlando Bloom is mentioned  One of them went to see Pirates of the Caribbean like 10 times just to moon over Mr. Bloom. What is it with women and men with pointy ears?

Me too....we just watched the extended dvds and i was the same way. I couldn't do a marathon like you did though....too uncomfortable. But yeah, after about 6 times each..I was still picking up things also :thumb:
BTW, do you all know about the Easter Egg on the extended edition of the 2 towers?? (well there is one of the first also...but the second was awesome!!)
It is an acceptance speech from the MTV awards of 2003. It is one of the funniest things I have ever seen!!
On the Extended edition of 2 Towers:
It is located on the first disc under select a scene.:Go to the last chapter and then hit down again...a ring will appear..that is the easter egg. Watch it....it is great :jump

:thumb: :jump NP!! Let me know when you see it, High....it is great!!
I watched LOTR Two Towers on Wednesday afternoon and went to see Return of the King that evening with the boyfriend. AMAZING!!! I just suggest that you abstain from drinking. The vat of Cherry Coke we shared was *not* a good idea. We wound up going back again on Friday...and I'll probably see it one more time before I head back to Syracuse. I just cannot say enough about this film...The montage where Pippen was singing? Beautiful. There are so many fine, fine artstic moments...I might have to go back tomorrow.
