Damn, glad I logged in, A BOOK. Uh yea I got a spot for one on my bookshelf.
Sign me up for one also.
never to late to start a bookshelf I suppose..

Things are coming together. Check out our website to read a (Very) brief excerpt from Alan Cross's foreword and get the news there. I can tell you that I've seen the cover, it looks fantastic. And I'm in talks with some great bands to help out at the launch in June. Spread the word folks!

This is incredible.
I would love to put myself down for a copy, as well.
Congratulations, THO
I'm in for book, usually only do audio books. But I'll read this
sounds awesome dude!
For what it's worth, that European tour was where my love affair with The Hip began!
I want a hard copy. This sounds really awesome Josh. Congrats on the book.
I still remember 2004road trip to Darien Lake. Such a great time.
Thanks,
Jamie

The memories will come flooding back, as that gig is featured in detail in the book. Thanks for your support Jamie!
Update: Launch will likely be in the last week of June, and likely at Supermarket in Toronto. (Where The Hip played!) Stay tuned!
Great read! Will have to pick up a copy
UPDATE: We've finalized the launch date and venue. The launch of Escape is at Hand-Tales of a Boy and a Band will be held on June 24 at Supermarket in Kensington Market, Toronto. Many of you will remember Supermarket as the venue that housed The Hip for a few days while they launched Now for Plan A.
I'll let you guys know about musical guests in the coming days, but I can tell you they're going to be quite awesome. I'll be doing a reading, I'm working on putting some local journos together for a bit of a panel and in general, it should be a good time. If you're in the GTA, please circle the date and come on down. We'll have lots of books on hand for sale.
Great stuff Josh. Got an estimate on what time on June 24?

If I had to guess, I'd say 8 PM. But I'll have a more definite time for you soon. It'd be great to see you Chris!
