Ok so im listening to Now For Plan A song "The Modern Spirit" and at the 1:47 mark I start thinking about Locked In The Trunk Of a Car and this goes on untill the 1:58 mark. Is it just me or is that the intro to Locked? Sure does sound like it to me. Listen closly you cant miss it.
Haha then right after that Gord sings "Can't you just hear it, hear it, hear it."
Ha! Good catch..you might be onto something there..very similar!
Yeah, I'm not hearing this one...
Those who cant hear it? Mabey your audio settings are different but it sure as hell is on my copy. at the 1:47 mark.

This song kind of sounded like a Hip montage for me. The drums at the start sound like In View, then the sound turns to Music at Work, then the 'modern spirit..yeahhhh" sounds like Nashville. I missed the 'Locked' piece but I appreciate you adding to the pile..LOL

I completely agree, I actually hear alot of IVL on this one as well, especially I hear sounds reminiscent of "the darkest one"
This song definitely defines The Tragically Hip "sound"
Also, the intro to to 'the lookahead' is VERY similar to 'you're not the ocean'
