I said it. Is it up there with the likes of Day for Night or Phantom Power? Not quite. But it's an excellent late-career gem, and while I like some tracks better than others on this disc, there isn't a single song that I skip. Front to back, this is quality material.

Agreed as well!

I concur. But as the album isn't out yet I can't really comment. Ya never know who's watching, ya can never be too cautious.
They are officially streaming it tho....?

Phew. I really dodged a bullet.

I can see why some would this is the weakest on the record and in some ways its hard to argue. Personally I love it. "Through, through, through and through" is sang so beautifully. Anyone who's ever had a rough patch in a relationship can relate to this song.
That part is actually the main reason why Done and Done is the weakest song to me. I like the song if not for the "through, through, through" parts. Of course, I could change my tune in the future. There have been plenty of songs that I disliked initially and came to love over time. Done and Done could be one of those songs.

I love done and done, it's about this map and modern spirit that are the weakest tunes in my opinion even though they are growing on me a little bit, that #7 spot on the two albums before was the weakest for sure (pretend & exact feeling). But i'm still loving this album but I do like We are the same better for some crazy reason??
Done and Done reminds me of The Rules. They could almost be sister songs.
i like the lyrics of the rules way better than done and done. for some reason i cant get into done and done, take forever or streets ahead, they may grow on me. and i think i would like man machine poem a lot better live.

I can't really comment. You never know who is watching.
I've only listened to the record a couple times but does anyone else notice Paul's backing vocals being phased out? I really dig his solo album and wish he had more vocal opportunities. Sarah Harmer? Boooooo.
Agree to an extent re Pauls backgrounds. He's there in many spots, just not as up in the mix as older albums. I love the idea of Harmer singing so much on the album. Its fresh and rewarding. My only concern would be how songs like Done and Done and the Lookahead will sound live without her. Bring her on tour!
I like it better this way. Sorry Paul.

- Man Machine Poem is epic. Yeah the strings are a little silly, but I can live with it.
- We want to be it is epic.
- This is the first record since Henhouse where I haven't skipped any songs. Although, other records have some real jems (Depression Suite, Your not the Ocean, If New Orleans Is Beat, Dire Wolf, etc.), I honestly think this is the strongest collection of songs as a whole that they have released in years.
- Right now I feel that Streets Ahead and Done and Done are the weakest links, but certainly still enjoyable.
- I find it funny that some people don't like About This Map. That was one of the songs that immediately jumped out at me and is among my favourites. How could you not like that chorus?
- We want to be it and Lookahead should be singles. Lookahead gets radio stations double Cancon points Wink, but seriously...it's just so damn catchy.
