when i was too young to know any better, and because i didn't have any older siblings ahead of me that could lead me the way, i listened to the exact same "bad stuff". waaay back then, as a KID
and, you know what happened to me? i got tuned in at an early age, and it changed my life...and here i am heading to my 50th hip show this weekend.
moral of this story...just because u might not like it doesn't mean it doesn't have great value to someone else(kids)
from what i have read about bieber his heart is in the right place. usher thinks he's good and he has never forgotten where his home is.
I still remember the Hanson CD I got in third grade for Christmas...
...but I also remember getting Greetings From Asbury Park while in tenth grade haha

If you really wanna feel like your aging - one of the Hanson brothers just had his 5th kid
The show is going to be an abomination any way you look at it. Not even Lightfoot will be able to save this upcoming disaster.

There is no bright side, really. All of the halftime musical acts, save for Lightfoot, are absolutely as bad as Nickelback.

I though GL was excellent! The Bieb ... not so much;

I watched it and I'm pretty sure I caught Beibs not syncing up to the vocals at one point.
Not even Gordie L at his age was pulling that.
Also, absolutely love the Canadian Railroad Trilogy... but which is better? That or the Canadian Snacktime Trilogy?

:lol: You're pretty sure? Of course he was lip-synching. What else would a hack like him be doing?
The show was actually worse than I anticipated. Mariana's Trench? WTF was that??????? Lightfoot (as expected) was the only one who added some credibility to the whole fiasco. Burton Cummings embarrassed the nation with his disrespectful "Oh Canada".
Bieiber with Tom Brady on Fox before one of the games last year was hilarious. He seems like a good kid at least, and i'm a lot more proud of him being Canadian than Avril or Nickleback, or Celine Dion even for that matter.
I saw a car with a BELIEBER vanity plate yesterday. Or should that be "shame plate?"
lol, ya, still better than those toronto maple leaf ones though.
